Just as the wader birds fly every year from Japan to Australia, Showa High students also travel to Brisbane annually to have a homestay experience at Earnshaw State College.

Conversely, every two years Earnhaw students make a similar journey to Nagoya in Japan.

Saying goodbye is never easy.

This exciting program offers students life- changing opportunities:

  • To practice their Japanese whcih they have been learning since prep.
  • To make life-long friends and experience a different culture.
  • To travel overseas, independently.
  • To experience a Japanese school and a typical Japanese home.

Earnshaw State College and Showa High truly value this relationship and each looks forward to these visits.
