At Earnshaw State College, there are a number of club activities which students can get involved in, including the following:
Student Council
The Student Council at Earnshaw State College provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork and citizenship skills while making a positive contribution to the college and the wider community. Student Council members work collaboratively with staff and the P&C Association to plan and deliver a range of fundraising and service initiatives throughout the year.
Annual activities include Mother's Day and Father's Day fundraising events, as well as initiatives that support local and national charities, community organisations and college improvement projects. Funds raised by the Student Council also contribute to facility upgrades and enhancements that benefit the entire school community.
Through their involvement, Student Council members:
- participate in hands-on service projects
- work collaboratively to support others
- develop leadership, communication and organisational skills
- demonstrate respect, responsibility and active citizenship
- raise awareness of local, national and global issues
- identify and lead projects that make a positive difference within the college and the wider community
- contribute to initiatives that enhance the learning environment for all students.
The Student Council encourages students to become active, engaged and responsible members of the school community while developing the confidence and skills to make a meaningful difference.
