The Earnshaw State College P&C Association Executive consists of:

  • President – Kaylene Donaldson    3.1.4 P&C banner.jpg
  • Vice President – Sydney Murphy
  • Secretary – Fiona Brown
  • Treasurer – Amy Johnston

The functions of the P&C Association under its constitution, are to:

  • foster community interest in educational matters
  • try to bring about closer co-operation between the parents of children attending the College and other members of the community, staff members and students of the College
  • If asked by the principal, give advice and recommendations about issues relating to persons who receive educational instruction at the school and the general operations and management of the College
  • give, or assist in the giving of, financial or other resources or services for the benefit of the persons who receive educational instruction at the College
  • perform any other functions as the Minister may decide

All parents, carers and community members are invited to join the P&C Association in a way that suits you. There are a number of ways people can participate, such as:

  • Becoming a P&C Member
  • Attending P&C meetings
  • Volunteering at the Book Shop
  • Volunteering at the Tuckshop
  • Donating raffle prizes
  • Donating pantry items to the Tuckshop
  • Helping at a fundraiser or stall
  • Writing Grant applications

Meetings:​

​The P&C meet monthly on the third Tuesday of each month, during school terms.

Location: B05 (room on the left of the senior administration entrance via stairs)

Time: General Meetings begin at 6pm (Fundraising meetings begin at 5.30pm)

Operations:

Our P&C operates the Tuckshop, Book Shop, Earnshaw Eels Swimming Club and Eagles Skipping Club. We have managed groups who focus on Fundraising and Grants. We also maintain the Containers for Change program with two industrial sized collection bins at the College.

Past Projects:​

The P&C fund many projects within our college to benefit students. These may be provided by raised funds, grants or a combination of both. Projects have included (but not limited to):

  • Playground replacements and upgrades
  • Air-conditioning all classrooms
  • Funding for Interactive white-boards for all Primary classrooms
  • Permanent and mobile shade
  • Laptop class sets
  • Sports Hall flooring and kiosk upgrade
  • Tuckshop renovation
  • Choir (Arts) Rises
  • Student representation support
  • Student 'Earnies' support
  • Various student clubs/councils
