Earnshaw State College has engaged in a BYOD technological solution, which means we have opened the doors to the future of education, allowing students to bring their own devices to have a more positive and enjoyable learning experience using devices they are both comfortable and familiar with.

The Earnshaw Learning Online (ELO) platform enables students to access curriculum and other resource material required for learning via a web interface, accessible from both school and home networks.

How the program works

To begin, we recommend that you read over the BYOD-student-charter-2022.pdf  This will give you information regarding how the program operates and what is expected.

Once you have a device, and an understanding of the agreement, you will need to complete both Appendix A and Appendix E of the Charter Agreement.

Complete all applicable fields on the forms and bring your device and completed forms to the IT help desk in the library at Earnshaw State College. Upon receiving the device, it will be connected to the college network.

When we have completed this process, we will post a student notice that the device is ready for collection.

We recommend a laptop for Year 4-12 students.
