SET plan interviews

SET plan interview bookings can be made using the PTO website.

This term is very important for our year 10 students as they start planning for their future career pathways. This process involves students developing a SET plan; a plan that maps what a student will study and learn during their senior schooling years (years 11 and 12). The SET plan is discussed with each student, their parents or carers and the college.

All students in Queensland are required to develop a Senior Education and Training Plan (SET plan).

Students will have logged onto their Oneschool account before the interview date, at and begun the process by completing the questions listed. Students have received information over this year to help them complete their SET plan and select subjects for 2016 including QTAC tertiary prerequisites and TAFE program guides. Subject guides are available through the SET plan process.

Details for the SET plan interviews and subject selection are below:

Date:                           Thursday 10 September

Time:                           7am to 7pm

Location:                      Senior Administration

Duration:                      20 minutes

It is important that a parent or guardian attends the 20 minute (approx.) Year 10 students are only required to attend school for their SET plan interview.  Students must be dressed as if attending an interview, ie smart casual clothing.

Parents will need to make interview bookings using the PTO (Parent Teacher Online) website. Bookings are open now. Please choose only one teacher and an appropriate time to have your interview.

Please contact Richard Tweney, Head of School (Secondary), if you have any questions regarding the process.
